“Visited myself – highly recommended!”. When choosing a new restaurant or a different
holiday destination, a review from someone who has been there can give us confidence in
our decision.
When it comes to our “final destination” after we die, it is good to be sure. There could be
no greater authority than the words of someone who came back to life after being dead.
The Lord Jesus did just that, three days after He had died on the cross. One purpose in Him
doing so was to show everything has been done so that God can forgive sin. Another
purpose was to show that Christ has power over death and can therefore give eternal life to
all who place their faith in Him.
This is one of the ways the Lord Jesus is unique – no one else can claim the right to speak on
life after death like He can. Have you trusted Him for eternal life?
