Thought of the Month
So, it’s 2026. I can’t believe either. 2025 is now history, and for many, it ended with that demanding time of Christmas, filled with presents, excess in various aspects of life, and head spinning with all that had to be done. Not much time to be still.
Take time to stop. To be still, and in that stillness acknowledge that there is something far more important than this self-exalting ‘look at me’ material world in which we live.
On a dark clear night, look up, and see something of the handiwork of our Creator.
In the stillness of the night, God in love gave to us a wonderful gift, in the person of His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Be still, and in the quietness of you heart, acknowledge the God of eternity today. By repentance and faith in Christ, the Saviour of the world, we have the answer to our every need, including a stillness we never knew before.
