Thought of the Month
The Lord Jesus, who came from heaven, was going back home to heaven via the cross and His resurrection to make it wonderfully possible for sinners like ourselves to one day join Him there. The day before His death one of His disciples asked Him “How can we know the way to heaven?”
He answers this not by pointing to a way but by saying that He is The way. In other words He is the only way to God and all who would come to the Father must come through Him.
So for those who are lost, wandering and do not know where they are going Jesus is the way to God and heaven. Maybe we are confused and do not know what to think so Jesus said I am the truth so we can be certain about what He said. Maybe we are seeking true life now and in eternity so Jesus said I am the life and as He is the source of all life we can be satisfied
